Er... I hope no one minds I use this thread for posting this. It is still fanart though.

I've started working on a 3D version of the Marauder. I got the rough shape down and here are a few test renders.

I'll work on adding the gun barrels next and a more suitable canopy cage, and then the textures I hope. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. ^^

I'm working on a 3D model of the Kingfisher. Still needs some work though, and I may have to rethink how I am modeling it. There's a dedicated thread around here somewheres.

LOL. Oh yes, this Marauder is a tough thing to take off and land. :grin:

I'm trying to work out plugging in the landing gears since I have reference for that as well.

For reference, you take a look at the 'hangar' page. The plane in the background is a marauder, after all.

It's exactly the one I'm using ^^

EDIT: Not too keen on double posting, although I'm not sure how many would notice the update without the bump.

Ok,I added two gun barrels and I tried making some textures. My UVWrapper worked quite well with the fuesalge. As for the wings, meh, it screwed it up. Lack of resolution. Will probably do it the old fashioned way.

I did a couple sketches of a plane design... it does look a little silly, but i think its pretty cool. and i also drew a little sketch of my character. Both are simple graphite and ink drawings but, constructive criticism is always welcome.

Shiny indeed. The plane reminds me of something..... Anyway, I guess I should art too. Sketch ftw!

It's like mini skylet, I don't really know it's story, but it's got a lighthouse, small runway and hangar, a building of some sort and a radio tower.
