So this is the Acropolis, a free-floating hotel & casino (akin to a very large alpha platform). Sorry for the crappy drawing but it's just to give everyone an idea of what it looks like and which sectors are which. Also, the ring on the outside goes all the way around, but that would have just complicated the drawing. Will post after this with details on each sector. Comments, suggestions, criticisms, and funny jokes greatly appreciated! :D

Alright here are the sector descriptions...
Each sector is comprised of several floors, and each sector is connected by large express elevators (Each sector has a direct elevator to every sector except for Sector 11 and down.).

Dome Sector: The dome is constructed out of reinforced bulletproof glass. Within the dome is a large arena/Colosseum which is used for everything from sports to boxing to skirmish battles. Occasionally, the arena will also hold special matches where competitors fight to the death. Surrounding the Colosseum is a large park, complete with artificial ponds and a few rides for kids. There are also viewing platforms on the perimeter of the dome.

Sector 1: This Sector is comprised of Colosseum betting areas, where patrons can bet on the games being played in the Dome Sector or on the lives of competitors during special events, a large amount of casino elements, and access to the dome sector.

Sector 2: This Sector is home to the Parthenon, a massive restaurant which caters to every taste and price range. Patrons are given a menu based on food type and price range and are then served by expert waiters. All food is cooked in the central floor of the sector, or in the sub-kitchens on each floor.

Sector 3: This Sector is where the main casino resides. Several floors with both mixed casino areas and game specific sections. High-roller tables are also available but most of this occurs in Sector 10 (VIP Sector).

Sectors 4 & 5: These Sectors are the main hotel floors. Rooms range from cheap to moderately priced. Amenities are provided but not to the extent of the Premium Hotel Sector and VIP Hotel Sector. Room Service from the Parthenon is available.

Sector 6: This is the Commercial sector. Outside of the connecting passageways from the docks to the Acropolis, all gift shops are located here. All commercial needs can be met here, from clothing stores, barbershops, to gun stores and everything in-between. There is also a section devoted to the Skytopian stock market, and several small restaurants and bars.

Sector 7: This sector houses several large bars, including 7-7-BAR, the largest bar in Skytopia (that we know of) which takes up an entire floor. There are also several clubs, ranging from dance to jazz to....another sort of club.

Sector 8: The Premium Hotel sector is for those patrons who are willing to spend a little extra money for a greater experience. Full amenities are provided, and the rooms are quite nice. Rooms include king sized bed, exquisite bathrooms, and all the aspects of a wonderful hotel room.

Sector 9: The VIP Hotel sector is accessible only by use of one of the express VIP elevators through the use of a keycard. This is the penthouse level and all rooms are made for a king. Comprised of several rooms each, and all with a wonderful view, the VIP patrons receive full amenities, complementary room service, an assigned bellhop, and the best decor money can buy. VIP patrons also receive exclusive access to the VIP sector, accessible by a private elevator in their room, and access to the VIP box in the Colosseum.

Sector 10: This is where the true high-rollers come. Comprised of a special VIP restaurant and bar, exclusive private gaming rooms, and a beautiful indoor pool, the VIP sector is a paradise within the Acropolis. All tables have minimum bets which are equal to or higher than the maximum bets in the main casino. The restaurant employs only the finest chefs and servers, and dinner is complementary. The bar serves only the most refined and expensive liquors, and is also free of charge.

Sector 11: This is where a large amount of employees needed to run the Acropolis are housed. Housing is... not preferable even though they receive a hefty salary. Rooms are small as to fit as many workers on board as possible. Many workers commute daily to the Acropolis through transport planes from nearby Skylands.

Sector 12: This is where the main security force is housed. While every floor has at least one large security area, the heart of their operations resides in this sector. Contains an extensive armory, a dedicated logistics section, and recreation and residence for off-duty guards. This sector also contains the only way to enter Sector 13, a heavily guarded elevator. All people entering Sector 13 must have approval from Mr. Borgenwelch or in his absence, the head of security. Only then will the elevator be unlocked and allowed to take someone into the depths of the Acropolis.

Sector 13: It's restricted so you don't need to know.

Alright that's it, sorry for this super long post but I'd really like this to work and I know several people have expressed interest in it before. Any questions, comments, criticisms, and suggestions are more than welcome! :)

I highly endorse this event or product.

Seriously though, the sketch is very informative. I love the way it looks and, from a Roleplay standpoint, the usefulness of such a place.

As long as the 'Powers that Be' are fine with such a thing existing (it looks fairly plausible from where I'm sitting), then I'm 100% behind it.

Thanks for posting all the info up, Xethos! It makes for a very enticing read.
Really looking forward to getting in some RP in the Acropolis.

"Blood sport" seems inconsistent with the Skytopian world as the Devs have designed it and feels really out of place.
Otherwise, what you have here looks pretty neat.

Thanks for the input Calvin! How about if the arena up top is used for non-lethal games, sports, skirmishes, boxing, and the like. However I'd still like to incorporate the types of things I had previously thought of, so how about a smaller private arena within the restricted area. It would not be public whatsoever, so therefore not endorsed by the Skytopian community, but available by only by invitation, sort of like an underground fight-club but to the death and with betting. Of course I would have to create a separate checkpoint within the Restricted Sector to access the top secret areas, but that'd work just fine. Let me know if this would work cause I'd love to make this work and am totally willing to change stuff so it flies.

Also, thanks Blake! Glad to know you'll enjoy it :D

See? You've already forgotten the first rule of fight club.
