Ahoy folks! We're going to close out the Hidden War with a final contest. We want to see your most exciting and interesting combat video.

This will be a bit trickier as it's harder to just attach a video to an e-mail and send it to us, but we'll try to make it work.

Deadline: August 8th, Noon Central time

Submission: E-mail gilbert@skyrates.net a link to where your video can be downloaded. E-mail submissions MUST have the subject heading of "Combat Video Submission" otherwise they will not be accepted.

Instructions: Videos can range from a straight recording of an in-game combat with only the combat sounds, to your own specially cut together video of combat with its own soundtrack. We ask that you keep the video clips to in-game recordings of combat or other scenes from Skyrates (flight screen, etc)

Best Overall Video - Awarded to the video that we find the most impressive.
Best Combat Recording - Awarded to the best video that is a straight recording of combat
Best Cinematic Combat - Awarded to the best video that is cut together by the submitter (composed of different shots, and potentially its own sound)

Reward: Special player titles for all winners, and a fiction appearance for the overall winner.

Legalese: By e-mailing us, you assert that you have the right to submit it to us, and entitle Airship Studios to unrestricted use of such submissions for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without the requirement of any permission from or payment to you or to any other person or entity.

Multiple Entries: You are allowed to submit multiple entries, but just send them each as separate e-mails.

Rules for video content have been lightened somewhat.



Videos do not have to be entirely of Skyrates combat. They can include other visuals/videos of scenes from Skyrates or work you have a right to submit.
