Welcome to the next round of Skyrates! Included below are the major things that have changed or been updated.

~Plane Stat Changes~

Most planes have had their stats adjusted, particularly in regards to their ability to transport cargo in a given time (ckph). This has affected influence payout on missions, crew leveling, and skill costs. This has also necessitated some juggling of the map layout (largely bringing in some of the very distant skylands closer).

~Plane Condition & Servicing~

Planes no longer accumulate negative condition effects. Now, whenever you get your plane serviced, for every 20% of condition that was repaired, you'll get a good condition effect (to a maximum of 5 effects).

New good condition effects have been added.

The cost for servicing your plane is now a proportion of the plane's base cost.

The time to service most planes has gone down. The one exception being the Junker, which takes 30 minutes to service.

Plane condition now drops slightly faster.

~Mentoring/Apprenticeships~

After one day of being an apprentice, that apprentice will get a 5% speed boost.

Additionally, whenever the apprentice completes a mission, their mentor will gain a bonus effect that will increase the influence/reputation payout of any missions that the mentor completes. Only one bonus can be active per apprentice. The bonus is for 2% and lasts 2 days.

~Character Changes~

Character names can no longer start or end with a space. Those characters whose names did start with a white space have either had the space removed, or had the word 'NOT' appended to the front. If you feel this was done in error to your character, please contact us.

~Client Changes~

Various optimization fixes to reduce the processor load.

~Bug Fixes~

There was an error occurring when people were trying to get their password reset. The password reset should work much better now.

We fixed a bug related to players earning money when they got their plane serviced while having a very small amount of money.

Characters who quit a faction will now properly have the 30 day cool-off period before they can rejoin that faction.

Fixed a bug with the in-game tutorial help.

~Website Changes~

We have added a web page for those players who have forgot their log in name. If they provide their email address, we'll send along their log in information.

We've added a new option on the account page for email news updates. We will occasionally send out notification of new features, events, etc. You can enable/disable these email news updates whenever you please.

The forum code has been updated.

The bug of people who joined a faction being listed as the group leader in the forum group page has been fixed.

While we cleared out most of the logs, we tried to keep all combat logs involved you beating a legendary combat. That's yours to keep.

The mission log is back up and functional.

We've got some known bugs that we still need to squash. There's some weirdness with the mentor/apprentice effects (do remember that apprentice effects last for 2 days, while mentoring ones shouldn't expire), combat levels, and faction forum visibility.

We'll be working on these, but for the next week some of the devs will be out of commission at a conference. More active development will occur when they get back from it on the following week.
