This may be a "Skyland Location" thing rather than a "plane" thing.

Bolo. Drop Tanks, no other range-modders installed. FE 7.

I am able to reach Fuel XXVIII from Alpha 2, but I can't (quite) make that last hop to Midgard.

I feel that if this is not a deliberate decision, it is a "bug". It is very counterintuitive: the purpose of the Fuel Depot is to facilitate Midgard<-->Alpha 2, so the fuel depot should be mid-range between the two, no?

I've run into this with a few fuel platforms myself, having just started over. My CR-4P could make it to the first in a chain but not beyond there.

Already Got to the Mastiff so those aren't a concern now.


I can only suggest training up that fuel efficiency skill :smile:

There is a range gate designed to lock players from Midgard, Alpha 7, and Phillipia. This mid tier of skylands hosts mid tier trade routes and mid tier upgrades, you get full easy access to them with a mid tier plane (Tier 4/5). There are several ways to break this, though... the Efficiency Mod would give a Bolo a good kick.

The starter Junker also isn't intended to leave the little clusters that players spawn in - that Mastiff opens up more of the world to new players.

It may have been better to place that fuel station on the Midgard side of the gap (to prevent players from reaching that station and hitting a no-fun dead end) but the map isn't perfectly polished. Alpha 7 is kinda too close, conversely, and Phillipia is way out there. It keeps things interesting.
