Taft -- had a chance to look at the HFO reduction for combats in flight yet?
I only ask because, yknow, the Blade in flight, boosted legendary encounter rate, massive HFO obliterating skylands, this would be a nice time to have that extra HFO reduction ability =D

I know what you really want: The Purple Party Plane. It's stocked to bursting with everything needed to make our valiant warriors happy warriors! When it's landed on a skyland, the morale of every crew that passes through is boosted to 110%, and the pilots get to use fiesta in chat for the next ten minutes.

I know you. You crave it.

Regrettably, not last night. Will try to attack it tonight when I get home from work.

Yes, actually, this is exactly what we want. But something that actually helps us would be nice too.

Something that boosted crew morale would actually be awesome to stick next to a carrier. "Crew tired out from a long day battling Carriers on Alpha 2? Stop by the Purple Party Plane, conveniently located on Jordan, and give them the pampering they deserve!"

Removing a random bad condition effect would also be sweet, but less logical.

kk, appreciated. To put it into a bit of perspective: each day we're not on the 3x reduction, we only get around 1.4mil HFO reduction instead of about 4.0mil - 4.2mil (assuming some are patrols.) This translates into a 7day HF inf reduction of only 4.76mil vs about 14mil. That's at least 9million extra HF inf applied over a week per day of in flight at reduced rates. (I'm fairly confident that these numbers will increase when the carriers are live as well!)

I've been staring at these numbers for a while, but with the various surprise mechanics encountered from round to round, felt it wasn't much of a priority since it had gotten dropped already, but needless to say, with around 10 days left and the painful crunch, I'm looking for anything we can get here, hehe. =)

I'm seeing the 3x HFO in flight with the 1xHFO in patrols now!

Thank you Mr. Taft. =) And if you'll excuse me, I have some combats to pay attention to.

Hmm...I don't recall intentionally saying to myself 'there is a cap.' It is intentional that the Fleet will not always take the bait someplace. I'll try to be more aware of it this round.

For this round, we have chosen to defy on Alpha 17 with the Blade and massive factional support in effect. Given that it is a target in the middle of a target rich zone, we feel this should probably not end up being one of these 'wont take the bait' situations. So this will be defied to death. If you could keep your eye here to make sure that whatever the fleet's methods are, it's working correctly here, that would be appreciated.

(Not that I'm saying we wont feel a might miffed if we can't get it above High, but I'd like to at least know it was intended, not accidental.)

An additional thing to check is Alpha 7. We attempted to try a 'scorched earth' style effort here, popping the defies up before it flipped. It seems a reasonable use of the ability and story-line effective as well. It's been bzzt aggroed up, but so far it only dropped in presence. It's only been a day, so this is something we'll keep an eye on to see how it works out, but if you're checking for appropriate response, this is another good one for that.

Markus J encountered an issue that might be interesting.
He killed a Two Towers (which I can confirm has been giving full inf in flight) while in flight, but it sounds like he landed *during* the flight, and this gave him the patrol inf for an in flight kill. (presumably the other bonuses as well, I'm guessing the 'in flight' check looks at where you are, not where you were when you started.)

For Signal Analysis, at this point I'm assuming it's safe to expect no bonuses?

New story, story result implementation, and carriers would be my preference to see over any time on this, although not knowing the other targets is driving me batty, hehe. (not batty den, just batty!)

Assuming 25% recovery still.
Urm, the first two may be the odd result of other factors, but what in the world happened tonight?

Little did we know that every loss against a Carrier would increase the Hidden Fleet's Power!

There's certainly enough skylands where the Fleet has lost enough inf to have used some of its powers, but since it's you, I'm guessing you've already checked for that... Not that I see any, either.

Yeah, they would've shown up ahead of time, and they wouldn't've all popped within the same ~20seconds as the recovery. It's either another intentional shuffling forward, or a number went screwy somewhere. I just don't want to have to take the pain if it wasn't intentional.
