Yes to an android compatible version. I don't think I'd spend another month without a smartphone given this motivation.

Shiny!

In every sense of the word.

Particularly the Firefly one.

I have a feature request: make links in chat open in a new tab by default, please. :chatty:

I usually hate it when links open in a new tab by default, but I guess it makes sense for Skylight to do that. I'm going away for christmas right now, but I'll do it when I get back.

Because the Firefox extension API is very different than the Chrome and Safari ones so it would have to be recoded from the ground up for Firefox. And Kathy's browserist.

Bingo!

Done.

Incorporating lurker into it would be pretty cool - tab up to see chats from before you arrived, for instance.

I might do more along those lines in the future. For now, General, Help and Roleplay show a little bit of history when you open Skylight. Hover over any message to see the time it was sent.

Depending on your settings, the extension might automatically update in the next day or two. Otherwise you can go into Tools > Extensions (Chrome) or Preferences > Extensions (Safari) and click a button to manually update.

Is 1.4.4 the latest version?

EDIT: I currently have 1.4.4 in Chrome, but 1.5.0 in Safari.

Also, that might be the most awesome screen name ever...or maybe just someone with perfectly defined priorities.

Actually, a suggestion for Skylight, since it appears to be back up, (In case I never said so, yet another very pretty toy, nice work :love:).

Being able to set a tag that automatically adds itself to your messages. So, say I give it the tag [H].

If I send a normal message, it sends this;
[H] "Oh no, not /again!/"

And if I do a /me, it moves the tag over to the right of the command;
/me [H] walks over, and shakes his head.

You could just ignore it if you use /ooc;
/ooc Because it'd look silly otherwise.

It might help to avoid confusion, especially since we've had people in two or three locations at once, and tags get forgotten.

There should probably be a character limit, maybe 8? And, if possible, strip them from non RP chats. Unless I'm very mistaken (probably) this shouldn't be too much work, and it'd be nice.

A suggestion/request: would it be at all possible to take the "Online: ##" number and transfer it into Skylight?

You mean this guy? Image Well, okay. But first I have to confess to corrupting that number.

Closing the Skylight window doesn't immediately take your character offline. The idea is that if the network burps, or Chrome farts, or you want to head out for quesadillas, you can reopen Skylight and not miss any faction or wing chatter.

Now, nobody actually uses Skylight, so there are no Skylight zombies affecting the online number, but there is a small margin of error in that "nobody" statistic.

There are some other not-people plugged into Skyrates too. I made a chat-logger thing, and so did nehp. I'm guessing that zolurker is a separate not-person now. Skylight keeps a not-person connected for various reasons. Sometimes there's a test version of that online too.

So when you see Image you maybe should think Image

Anyway, your reward for hearing my confession is a new Skylight slash command in version 1.7.3
Code:
/online

zolurker is a constantly logged in entity, probably to be split into two at some point. The dyna grabber uses a separate account, although it never initiates a client log in, just web, and I haven't tested if that affects the online count. The hidden event had a third one in use (that scraped less info but on a higher frequency) to avoid overlap with the dyna grabber but maintain a reasonable time consistency, although this one was also just web login and hasn't been in use since the HF war.
