I've installed the script and I can see the icon in the top left corner, but no custom icons are showing up. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? (Also, I am completely unfamiliar with any coding or greasemonkey know-how, so please use small words.)

Oh - and for the greasemonkey script, pick one source (userscripts.org or github) and stick with it. Otherwise your preferences (server list, local overrides) will do weird things.

It's important to note that *any* player can remove *any* image, or *alter* any image, or *add* any image, in *anyone's* name, on the unmoderated list.

The only way to protect yourself from this is to get your avatar promoted to one of the managed lists.

Which we'll do, just make sure we know about it. Just posting your to unmoderated isn't enough, we might miss it. Leave a comment in the column meant for that, or post to the forums, or even PM if needed.

And I'd like to stress that it doesn't necessarily have to be one of ours. If someone else feels like managing a provider, and you trust them at least as much as you trust us, feel free to get it promoted there instead. Free market, and all that jazz.

(We just get to have the advantage of being the default providers because we wrote the code )

Personally, I don't mind the "dual usage". However, I suspect that the Wikia folks do mind.
It would be most unfortunate to have the Skybrary shut down from too many of us leeching.

I've found a slight problem:

If, for example, you dislike Sluor's avatar and change it back to default, it only does on one post, not the whole page and doesn't remember it from page to page.

Hm. I'm getting that they all change (rather than none) if you override and then refresh, but I can confirm that only one changes when you just override. Entering into our bug tracker.
