I finally got around to sticking a web interface on my route calculator.

A few notes:
The server's upload speed is really quite slow, and the algorithm isn't the most efficient. Give it a minute or so on complex routes.
The routes are provably the shortest, or fastest if you specify speed, navi details, and landing time.
    I'm open to any suggestions!
Have fun!

What's landing time got to do with it?

Yeah, I'm wondering about landing time too. I thought maybe I could put in "I want an 8hr flight" with the stopping time (for a flight that would otherwise take less than 8hrs). That turned out not to be correct, it grounded me for 8hrs instead.

...I would understand if you said that was too annoying to code though

Landing time's how long you're spending grounded per skyland (except Fuel Skylands, because no one ever stops on a fuel skyland). Was more useful in previous rounds with miniservicing, still is useful if you're trading. If you put in a landing time and speed, that amounts to penalising landings a small amount, as it tries to find the fastest route, including that landing time.

I'm not sure how to create an admissible monotonic heuristic from a target time - you'd necessarily want to minimise an absolute value, so it'll definitely not be monotonic, at least, and I'm fairly sure admissibility is not satisfied with the naïve heuristic.... If my brain's just fried, feel free to correct me.

The linked provided in the OP, http://www.nsb0.net/skyrates/routes, is down.
The "old one" linked above still appears to work, but I'm not sure if the data is still accurate. See http://h2g2v2.nsb0.net/skyrates/routes.html

Hahahaha! I knew I kept the old link up for a reason

Yea, I'm no longer running www on h2g2v2, and have got way too much on my list before "rewriting pathfinder on www such that it's coded less stupid". I'll edit the OP.

As for data, unless there's been a reset recently that I haven't noticed, it should be fine.
