Hello all,

I've just started a Skyrates wiki over at Wikia, and I request your help in contributing to the content. I'm looking for two things, specifically:
- People to write stories and lore
- People to write stats, strategies, and game mechanics

Instead of a purely in-universe encyclopedia, the Skybrary is both fiction and fact; the fiction is whatever you want to write, a story or a Skyrate shanty or a piece of interesting lore. The fact is the stuff that makes this game run, and I'm looking for those who are interested in making a complete and comprehensive guide to the game available. This would include plane stats, skyland specifics, and strategies on how to get the most out of trading, combat, and everything else.

P.S. Anyone who knows how to work with wikis I need your help. Especially with changing styles. Calvin, I think you mentioned something about that. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I know Skyrates gets compared to this game a lot, but the Puzzle Pirates Wiki may be a good template to use. I find this one a bit hard to navigate.

I am registered, and currently working on a piece about the Tortugan Upheaval.

As you may have noticed, I gave the good doctor a first name at last. I reasearched the topics, and I even PMed Gil a few times, but I never could find a first name. But we're not going to mention that in this article. For all intents and purposes, Lewis Stotts was his name.

Also, it's not done entirely. I plan on refining it later. As well as adding categories about what each of the opinions of the factions were. Can't link posts from faction forums, so it'd help if some Blues and Reds would help on that bit.

Me too actually. I guess I just like the "MonoBook" skin better. I just changed my preferences on the Skybrary wiki.

EDIT: Strike that. Using the MonoBook skin seems a little flaky.

Alright, I've profiled the Scarlet Blade, the Azure Wind, and the Jade Whisperer based.... well, based entirely off of their pictures, actually.

I think the only one anyone might have qualms about is the Jade Whisperer, which I put down as being capable of reaching 50 knots-- which is pretty {static} fast for a submarine. Much faster than the current submarines we have today, actually. But, it's all just a game, and I thought it might be fun to give it a ridiculously high speed. (The fastest submarine in the world, google informs me, goes 40 knots)

Of course, if you disapprove, you can edit it yourselves.

Also-- how do I link references back to other articles? I can't figure out how to put internal links on references, and on one article actually had to settle for an external link.
So, if you could tell me how, please, I'd be much obliged.

I do not know who, but apparently someone has chosen to use my user name at the Skybrary. That is, unless the user names a are universal across the site. Could someone please clarify as to which is true?

I got it started but it needs a lot of reformatting before it will be complete. Also those pictures are missing - Phil, if you want to upload them to the Skybrary I'd be happy to incorporate them into the article.

I don't remember ever reading anything about the Principality War that brought Mistress Eltsina to power. Now, don't get me wrong, I like that a lot. But, having never even read a vague overview on what it might have maybe sort of probably was, it's a bit difficult for me to write anything about it.
So, do we just make it up? Or...?
