Since the Tortugan Upheaval, new Skylands have appeared on the horizon.

The first skyrate who can prove that they have visited these reclusive Skylands will be rewarded.

I shall plant the flag for Azure League in the name of science, progress, snowcones, and liberty. Especially the snowcones. Tally-ho!

OK, Sir Fex, ol' pal. Howsabout a friendly wager, between Mr. Moneybags and Il Liberatore di Tortuga?

If one of us collects a bounty, and the other doesn't, the winner gets to rename the plane of the loser for a week.

Fly Right (but not too right),

I want in on the action, but I'll wager a Red makes it there first. Change me plane name for a week if you win, if you lose I get to name both of yours.

well, I'm pretty sure I can beat Pierce, but I think if Fex wants it he's got it. It's all about the money at this point.

So what's the name you want me to rock? I might as well get this week out of the way now.

Well, not that I wouldn't have taken the bet, but I don't use words like "righto" or "chap". My guess is I was logged on on Fex's laptop and he forgot to log me off. So, your bet is currently with Fex.

But help me understand: You are betting that "a red" makes it first, or you make it? Also there are two Skylands in play in the bet between Fex and myself. One of us has to hit both of them first in order to win. Are you talking about one, both, or either?

If want to bet me that you will make it to one of Uuwerk or Grottopolis before I make it to one, you're on. With the understanding, of course, the problem with my making a friendly wager with a Red is the "friendly" part. :P

----begin transmission----
-All frequencies, general channel-
As of this transmission, Sir Edmund Cornelius Fex and Pierce N. V. Post, both citizens of the Azure League are en route to the mysterious skyland which has appeared on the northern edge of Skytopia and which some have dubbed "Uurwerk". Although Pierce has a headstart, I am hoping this new model Loki with a few "special modifications" will let me overtake him. Our rivalry is well known, but I want to make clear that we do this not for Lord Gilbert's bounty (although the winner will gladly accept) but to do what Blue as always done, push the boundaries of the world and of science. What we do, we do for all of Skytopia. Get ready to revise your charts.
Fex out.
----end transmission----

At 11:36 PM, May 18, I have landed on Uurwerk. It is a sight to behold! I'll try and bring back photos. Right now, however, there seems to be something wrong with my flight log. I'm not even sure if this transmission is making it through. perhaps something from the skyland itself? I'm going to have a look around an see who I can find.

(Devs, I seem to be bugged out. None of my logs will load and Uurwerk's locations (trader, Tavern, Hangar) won't load on top of the art. And my radio is borked. Hope this can get fixed, sort an anticlimactic arrival to not be able to do anything once I arrive)

Many thanks Lord Gilbert. My radio seems to be fixed now. I'm stepping out to explore the surroundings...

Honorable Lord Gilbert,

Greetings from sunny Grottopolis! Let me tell you, the beaches here are amazing. Just don't go too near the water... its several miles down. The natives here are much more friendly than the folks at Hoover Industries on Uurwerk. Oh, and they've got a healthy supply of every skyrate's favorite vice. Turns out they have some of the only catnip plants to survive the Tortugan Upheaval. I'll be bringing some back for everyone. Fex out.

I'm so sad. I've been to Uurwerk, but I still don't know what it looks like...

(I hit it via queued travel while at work, and the discoveries page shows me a broken image. )

Heartbreaking, it is.
